Berenice Marlohe

Berenice Lim Marlohe is a French actress from France. She is best known for her character as Bondgirl, the anti-heroine Severine in Skyfall the 23rd James Bond movie. Her television credits include Pere et Maire Femmes de loi, and Equipe medicale d'urgence. She has played in the French comedy Un happiness n'arrive never alone with Sophie Marceau although not appearing in the credits. She is also an Omega Watches brand ambassador. Berenice is a French-Chinese and Cambodian born from Paris France, May 19th 1979. She was born into a middle-class French-speaking family, she was raised by her Chinese father and her Cambodian mother. The father of her was a doctor and her mother a teacher. Her childhood was spent painting pictures and playing the keyboard in Paris. Her inspiration came from the arts and painting as they were two of her most cherished interests. Following a class with Jack Waltzer. It was then that acting became her obsession. In the 10 years after the actress completed her studies in Paris Conservatory. After graduating from college she was immediately auditioning for roles in films. In 2007, her first film role came in The Discordance. Early in her career she had a difficult time landing roles that would bolster the character. The presence of the character in films was influential. Most filmmakers and film companies she approached rejected her for absence of knowledge.
