Additionally, she was host of the variety show It's Showtime from noon (2009-2010) Curtis is the daughter Carmencita Ojales, a Filipina originally from Bolinao Pangasinan, and James Ernest Curtis Smith who is an Australian lawyer. She was born at Yarrawonga in Victoria, Australia. Her father married Ojales who was a Filipina from Bolinao in the year 1982. Her older brother Jasmine has also become an actor. Clare passed away from a heart condition in 2007, when she was barely 4 months old.
